Labour markets across Africa are undergoing significant change. New forms of work are emerging, including cross-border and digitally mediated employment relationships, patterns of employment are evolving, and longstanding structural challenges such as informality, unemployment and working poverty remain persistent across many economies. While some sectors are experiencing technological transformation and new employment opportunities, large segments of the workforce continue to operate in conditions characterised by vulnerability, insecurity and limited access to social protection.
To become a vibrant Organisation enhancing Employment Relations through debate and dialogue.
